For our curious explorers there will be a chance to make seed shakers and then experiment making different sounds and to interact with foraged items.

This space offers an opportunity to find regulation through creative play, sound and movement.

As summer draws to a close we see the results of months of sunshine in th bounty that is on offer. We explore this idea through play based around harvest.

For those with busy fingers we will be making apple bird feeders.

And for those wanting to carve themselves off a space we will be den building.

Come join us under the tree for some stories which further help explore the theme of the autumn woods.

We are returning to the Big Penny Social for a summertime special with The Together Space.

We recognise the acoustic challenges we had in this venue last time and our offering will take a slightly different format to the usual immersive workshops we run during The Together Space events.

We will build upon the seaside workshop from Higham Hill Hub on the 7th of August and add in more table based play activities.

All activities will be supported by PECS cards/makaton symbols.

There will also be switch adapted toys available to play with.

This session is designed to be fully accessible to those with PMLD but not exclusive and all are welcome. We can’t wait to see you for some summertime fun!

Leave behind a world in hyperdrive as they bring the gift of time to take you on a very special sensory journey exploringnature in springtime. 
This workshop has been designed specifically for young people with PMLD and offers an immersive and participatory experience.
Yoga and sound will be used to help bring about a state of relaxation in which individuals will be guided and invited to participate in their own way and at their own pace while sharing in the communal journey.
There will be opportunities to use communication aids and switches.

Due to the nature of the session and for it to be as beneficial to those participating as possible, there will be a fixed start time and places are limited.
